In order to celebrate our 5 year anniversary, my wife and I decided to take a short trip by ourselves. Our stops included Natural Bridge, Linville Falls and viaduct, the Biltmore Estate and then some hiking in the Smoky Mountains. We were only gone 4 and a half days, but it was so great to get out and take a break from everything.

Senior Portraits
Just some senior portraits from the weekend. I’ve very much loving the Fuji X series for portrait work. It’s fast, easy to set and the files are just beautiful. Everything was done with an X-T1, 55-200mm and a single off camera manual flash triggered by a radio trigger.
A Trip to Pymatuning for the 4th
We pulled the camper to a friends house over the 4th of July weekend for a nice little getaway. We visited the spillway with the tons of fish, went to an animal park to pet deer, took a boat ride and saw some fireworks at Conneaut Lake Park. The Lake Park was looking pretty rundown and apparently is going up for auction soon. The fireworks weren’t bad though.
