Last night was another senior portrait shoot for a friend and the night turned out great. We timed the sunset by the lake spot on and managed to get all the other shots and poses we needed before that.

Sunflower Field Senior Portraits
For the past few years, a local farm has planted fields full of sunflowers and other assorted flowers. Once everything is in bloom, the fields are opened to the public to come explore and inevitably, photograph. As soon as some images were on social media, photographers flocked to the location with clients.

A Perfect Weekend for a Wedding
Even though I don’t shoot weddings, I ended up shooting a wedding this weekend. A close friend asked awhile ago and I of course obliged. The bride’s other friend worked with me as well, and thankfully, she is a pro with MUCH more experience than I and helped me all weekend. Watching her work and pose the couple taught me much more than any YouTube video could.
