Merry Christmas to all! Tomorrow we celebrate the birth of our Lord. Except for the feline below, she will be playing with the coal that will inevitably be in her stocking.
Given that today was Father’s Day, I spent the whole day at the Westmoreland County Air Show hosted by Latrobe Airport. The weather started out a bit threatening, but as soon as the planes went up, the sky cleared. Shooting the little acrobatic prop planes and the F/A-18’s was a bit of a challenge with the X-T1 and the 55-200mm combo. Rumor has it that in 4 days, Fuji will release the version 4.0 firmware to massively improve the autofocus capabilities. I would have loved to have it today
While looking back through my Lightroom catalog, I stumbled across some pictures of a few World War II reenactments from 2009 and 2010. These were hosted at the West Overton Village, which is a historic site in southwest Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, they are no longer held there.
