We are finally getting a fair amount of snow to go along with the bitterly cold weather. In the past few days, about 4-6 inches of snow has dropped. Fresh snow combined with a beautiful sunny day is just what I hoped for, so I packed a camera bag set off to one of my favorite places to hike, Ohiopyle State Park. My first stop of the day was Cucumber Falls followed by a quick walk around the natural waterslides and then the main park area.
Since today was the first day official day of Christmas break, my family and I went down to the Children’s Museum in Pittsburgh. It was a blast and I had just as much fun (or more) as my daughter. While there, I didn’t have much time to focus on anything but playing with her and snapping some pictures of her, I managed to get a few abstract style shots.
A few weeks ago I took some pictures for my Church of some volunteers getting all of the Christmas decorations set up. Here are some of the shots from that to get in the Christmas spirit! I haven’t had much time to shoot anything besides family, so this is the newest pictures I have. Enjoy!
A few days ago I received a new camera bag, a Domke F-8 in RuggedWear. When I was trying to find information on this bag, I could find very little in the way of pictures of the bag and how gear could be loaded into it. I wanted to post some brief thoughts of the bag and also a variety of pictures with the gear I use.
