On the way home tonight, I made a quick stop by the owl nest I explored last week.  Luck was on my side as an owlet was perched outside the nest and watching my every move.  I think this is a Great Horned Owl owlet, but I could be mistaken.  Taken with a Nikon Zf and Nikon 180-600mm + Nikon Z 1.4x teleconverter.
