Extended Weekend Image Update

The holiday weekend was a great reset for me.  I got to spend time with family and friends as well as go out and enjoy some of my hobbies and even volunteer some time at our Church.  The first few images are some shots I got at Church and then an evening hike around a local lake trying to see if any Bald Eagles or Osprey’s were out.  While I did see a pair, I wasn’t in a good position to get a shot worth keeping.  On a technical note, all images here were taken on the Pixii A2572+ digital rangefinder camera that I have been having a blast with.  The camera is just starting to get out of the way and let me capture what I want without issue or being stuck being an EVF and too many buttons/settings/controls/lens choice.  I did use my Nikon Z6iii with 70-200mm f/2.8 for some of the Church shots, but the Pixii was right there getting some wide angle and normal FoV images.

Next up are a few images taken from a local brewery that will heavily contrast with the Church images above.  The brewery is named ‘Helltown’ because that is the nickname of the town due to the ZIP code being 15666.  That originated back in the coal & coke/mining days during the turn of the century.  The nickname stuck and the beer is pretty good.

Finally here is a shot from my trip to the shooting range, the pets doing their normal daily activity and one of the updated chalk art menus at a local coffee shop.
