Fall Colors in Laurel Hill State Park After Church I checked the weather radar and estimated that I had about 3 hours or so before a wall of rain swept over my area. The light was quickly moving from bright and sunny to overcast and I was hoping that would soften the light for the fall leaves at a local state park. I grabbed a Nikon Z6iii, Nikon 24-200mm and a circular polarizer in a bag and headed off. I think one of my favorite features of modern cameras is the IBIS (image stablization). With this, I’m able to get out and hike without lugging a tripod around. Many of these images were taken around 1/8 to 1/30 of a second and the IBIS makes it possible handheld. Laurel Hill State Park is a beautiful place to camp, hike and spend some time in southwestern PA. Post navigation Friday Night Lights againWild and Wonderful West Virginia
