Worship Night at Laurelville Retreat Center

Laurelville Retreat Center holds a special place in my family’s heart as a place we go to unwind, be in nature and just bask in God’s presence.  We visit, stay, volunteer and fellowship with others there.  Last night, Laurelville once again hosted a community worship night and had 3 Church’s Praise Teams come and share their musical talents.  I was asked to lend my photography to the night to capture the praise so I jumped at the chance. Needless to say, the night was fantastic and the Spirit was moving in the building.  The gear used was the Nikon Z6iii and Zf paired mostly with the incredible Viltrox 135mm f/1.8 LAB and a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8.  Other lenses used were a Laowa 11mm f/4.5, Viltrox 20mm f/2.8 and the trusty Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8.  Lighting was… interesting, given the big range of darkness compared to the multi-colored lighting on stage.
