Another Volleyball Tournament

Today I spent the day at a volleyball tournament for my daughter’s club team.  The light was somewhat dim so I chose to shoot primarily the Viltrox 135mm f/1.8 LAB on my Z6iii.  Even though this lens isn’t made for sports, it performed very well and I had no issues with autofocus at f/1.8.  This provides just a bit more subject separation than f/2.8 zooms, while having to be a bit more careful about focus point selection and pre-focusing.  The one diving shot below was actually taken with a Voigtlander 35mm f/1.2 IV M-mount manual focus rangefinder lens adapted to my Nikon.  So this was manually focused at f/1.2 just to see if I could and it looks quite nice in my opinion.  Overall, the setup worked great and the images turned out well.
