We pulled the camper to a friends house over the 4th of July weekend for a nice little getaway. We visited the spillway with the tons of fish, went to an animal park to pet deer, took a boat ride and saw some fireworks at Conneaut Lake Park. The Lake Park was looking pretty rundown and apparently is going up for auction soon. The fireworks weren’t bad though.
On a nicely overcast Sunday afternoon, we took our daughter to a local animal park to visit some animals. The park is fairly nice and the grazing animals have nice big pastures to roam around in. Some of the big cats and wolves, not so much. Looking them in the eye struck me with how sad they looked. I’m not going to say it’s inhumane or go off on a rant, but it’s something to think about.
My family and I just returned from a week at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Even thought it’s a family vacation, I still try and devote some time to photography for me. Here is what I got.
