2nd Photowalk with the Leica M10

The new-to-me Leica M10 came along for a walk this evening with the Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 Nokton Classic II and TTArtisan 50mm f/1.4 ASPH.  The overall kit is quite compact, if a bit heavy.  Well worth the heft though, as everything just feels solid.

This old bridge is still in use, albeit as one lane only.  Looking at what is left of the supports, I wonder how much longer it will be open.  I’ve only ridden my road bike across it, but it felt safe enough.

The M10 so far has been a revelation to use.  I bought this camera so I would slow down, think about what I was doing and not be distracted.  The act of photography is back to worrying about framing and exposure, not what AF setting, filter, IBIS, zoom lens or anything else.  I had a 35mm or a 50mm.  Pick one and compose.  Sure I could have done that with any camera, but there is something about the act of using a Leica M that is so satisfying.

Lastly, here is the dog and cat.  A few of the first shots taken with Leica M10.
